I guess it's because I am not a big shopper - the only time I ever go is when my older sister invites me. Something people seem to compliment you on the most.

There would be two things:

1) I have very beautiful skin - I will have people come up and grab my face and say how soft and gorgeous it is.
2) I have the most gorgeous blue eyes. This is said when the person grabbing my face also tells me that.

I swear this happens more and more ever since the husband's grandma started doing this a few years back. I don't mind people I know but when some stranger does it I get creeped out because who knows where their hands have been.

I can't think of anybody because the people I know are what made me as of today. I like the path of life that I am on and I wouldn't want to take anyone out of it because who knows where I could be. There are a few people I wish but then they made me a stronger person so I am glad in a way they walked into my life.

Someone you didn't want to let go of.

That would be my dad. I was always close with him and had a pretty good relationship with him. Occasionally we would butt heads because I was a rebel child and did what I wanted to do.
We don't talk anymore and a big part is due to the person he is married to - she pretty much made him take sides and we see which side he took. I am not sure why she would do that - I am his daughter. Isn't it a good thing for a father to have a relationship with his children??
I know I could call my dad up and talk but it's not the same - our relationship is no more - he's missed out on three years of my life and I have missed out on his as well.
He always tells me to give her (the person he is married to) a second chance - well this would be her fifth chance. You have to earn my trust once its broken and she's broken it many times and I can't put down my wall and act like everything is fine and nothing ever went wrong because sooner or later we will be back to square one.
I miss my dad's side of the family - I am grateful that my grandma will call during the holiday's and chat.
Hopefully one day my dad and I can mend our relationship and move forward and be apart of each others lives again.

Let's go back to High School - Tenth grade I had a friend who was supposedly my best friend. She will remain nameless. I started dating this guy and found out my friend was talking trash about me to him saying things like "he could do so much better than me", "why is he even with me", just stuff like that. I confronted her about it in front of him and she was speechless - I called her a "Ho" and walked away. Never spoke to her again but I guess she couldn't stop talking trash about me.
A year later I ran into some old friends and they were asking me all sorts of questions the biggest one that everyone believed was that I got pregnant and dropped out of school. I had actually transferred high schools. When I asked them who they heard that from it was no other than the famous ex best friend. Back when MySpace was the social network I had people message me asking me that same rumor and still to this day when I run into people they question me about having a kid.
I knew she talked crap about our other friends but I didn't ever think she would do that to me.

For getting involved in my parents divorce. I wish I was never put in the middle and putting myself there. I should have stayed away - it cost me my relationships with both my parents. Things are so different now and I think if I would have stayed mutual and put both my parents in their place and told them how it was gonna be things could be better and I could have maintained a relationship with each of them. I need to forgive myself for the things I have said about each of them and work out my relationships with them especially my dad whom I dearly miss.

I try to love everything about me but the one thing that I have always hated are my freckles. When I was younger I would take a needle and poke at them hoping they would come right off - my mom would always tell me it's kisses from the sun but seriously I would love for them to fade away. I guess it tells you that I love being outside and I am not a hermit.

Yesterday the husband and I celebrated our four year anniversary - we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I am really not a fan of this place - the only thing that is actually worth getting is their rolls. Everything else is okay - I guess I am spoiled because I married an amazing cook. Everyone that eats his food tells him he needs to open his own restaurant because it is delicious. We rarely go out and eat because why waste the money when we know he could make something better.

Happy four years honey bunches of oats! Can't wait to celebrate our 40 years!!

Tila got her first boo boo this past weekend - our four wheeler trailer landed on her back right side. Seriously this dog is like my baby - I sat and bawled my eyes out while the husband held her and tried to get her to calm down as she was whimpering away. I took her up to the emergency vet and luckily she was swollen and bruised. They gave me some meds to give to her and said she should be in full recovery in a few days. I really think she is milking her injury now - she won't go up the stairs and so I have to carry her and also lift her up on the couch and our bed, but she can run around like a mad woman. I am just thankful that she didn't have any broken bones!! You could tell the first two days she was in so much pain but is getting better by the day.

Tila and I sat in the backyard and watched the husband clean up the back part of our yard. It has been a relaxing week. I took five days off of work to pull weeds and paint frames. It has been so nice sleeping in and not having to worry about work. I wish I could take time off all the time.

WOW! Where has this year gone? I can't believe April is almost over. Well since this is my first post of the year I will do a little bit of catching up.

- January -
We celebrated in the new year with family in the negative 4 degrees. My mother in law and I threw firecrackers in the fire at midnight in which it scared the crap out of the guys. I guess the next evening when her boyfriend was lighting the fire some of the firecrackers that didn't go off the previous night went off on him and he about crapped his pants. I think that was the only exciting thing that happened that month. The rest of the month we just worked and slept.

- February -
We spent Valentines weekend up in Park City. We shopped till we dropped well I should say until Dillon dropped. He's not a very good shopping partner. We ate at amazing restaurants and also I definitely recommend if you go to main street at night to hit up the No Name Saloon. Amazing food there and also great service. Our bartender was on top of it and that's hard to come by; he had your drink waiting for you instead of you waiting for him. We met some interesting people and had fun meeting new people. We definitely needed that little vacay away from home.

- March -
I celebrated turning twenty-five. I would like to skip my birthdays from now on please. I use to hate getting Id'd but a nice lady that made me pull out my license told me that I look like I just turned twenty-one. It made my day. Even if she was lying. And I also got hit on at Wally-World by highschool boys. They would not let me continue on my grocery shopping and kept falling me around until I told them my husband was going to beat the shiz out of them - then they let me be. I was flattered but really when I tell you I'm way too old for you please get the hint and back off. You do not want to mess with the husband.

- April -
Well here we are; should it be spring and the sun shining? I really am tired of scraping my car window in the morning and also having to wear my uggs. I need some sunshine, shorts, short sleeve shirts, and my flippy floppies. I really would like to go camping and pull out the fishing poles. This year the husband has promised lots of camping trips and riding. I hope he keeps his word because I love the outdoors.

Well that's it for now. Tila is getting frustrated with me and keeps dropping her toy on my keyboard because I will not throw it for her. Hope everyone has a great weekend and I will try and update a little bit more.

End of 2010

I can not believe we are approaching the end of 2010! Where did this year go? I think back of the goals I had set at the beginning of the year and I didn't complete all of them. It has been a great year for the husband and I.
We are almost done with our house - we are finishing up one of the rooms on the main floor that needed to be re textured and repainted. It had awesome wallpaper that Aunt Sandy and Brandy peeled off for us. Thank you ladies!
We still have the hallway that leads to our basement to finish I am hoping to get that done soon - it is driving me nuts looking at it.
I still don't have any decorations on my walls - the husband says I have to wait until the main level is completed and we finally got new couches. They should be arriving by tomorrow or early next week. I am excited! I got hand-me-down couches from my parents - they are really nice but they are over 12 years old and I was getting sick of the color and also they are big and bulky and not very comfortable when you are trying to cuddle and watch a movie.

GOALS 2010:
~~Own a home~~ - check
~~Go on vacation~~ - camping counts - right?
Get pregnant - that will be a goal for 2012

I don't care for my parents to ever get back together (for a long time that is what I hoped for) I just want them to be civil towards each other so us siblings can bond and not have any drama about it. They make it hard because if you talk to one another you are picking sides. I am not on any team and never will be - I am so thankful for my husband to keep me strong.

Tila is in love with heat - we bought her a little heater last winter and she will sit in front of it all day long. She loves the sun and when I get laundry out of the dryer she dives right in and buries herself.

Still no Jaxon - he has been missing for almost three weeks now. I am doing much better but the first week I bawled my eyes out. It's loosing a child. He was my little/BIG baby. I have always treated my dogs as they were my own kids and loosing him has been the hardest.

We have called the animal shelters and continue to call; we have called the K-9 Units and also the Utah Highway Patrol to see if they have picked up any dead dogs. It's a good thing they haven't. I know someone has to have let him in their home and he is seriously a great dog and they won't want to let him go. My mother in law has posted fliers all over - she has received phone calls - some pranks which pisses me off and others wanting to just collect the reward.

I hope that he is safe and warm and that he does find his way back home because I miss the hell out of him especially his little sister Tila.

All I want for Christmas is my Jaxon.

Thanksgiving...

Sorry I don't have any pictures to post about our Thanksgiving. It was the husbands turn for Thanksgiving (we switch off every year) and we had his mom, Paris, and brother over. Dillon really wanted to cook the turkey and since I have never done it before I didn't really care just as long as it tasted good - and boy did it. The husband is an excellent cook - his steaks, chicken alfredo pizza (see last post), bacon cheeseburgers, the list could go on and on are amazing. Honestly it was probably the best Thanksgiving I have had. His mom made me my favorite jello (we live in Utah - you have to have jello) and I had ordered a ham from Honey Baked Ham. It's expensive but well worth it. There is also a new bakery in American Fork called Shirley's and their rolls were yummy. We had a lot of food and very full tummy's.

Sad news: Jaxon our beloved chocolate lab went missing the night before Thanksgiving. He is such an amazing dog and very loving and we have been unable to find him. The animal shelter didn't receive any pets during the Holiday weekend so I am praying that someone was nice enough to let him into their home. He has never been gone this long before and he is like my child. I have posted an ad on KSL and my mother in law is making fliers today to post around. But if you have seen him please let me know.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving and drive safe during this winter wonderland.

First night...

Saturday we moved into our new home. Well we only moved all of our bedroom furniture since we still are working on the house but it was getting to be too much driving back and forth to Herriman. It's a 30 minute drive and we were using so much gas going back and forth and these days gas is about $3 per gallon. So to save us money we decided to get our bedroom done now so we could move in. We don't have much left to do; we should be able to finish this week.
Our poor little Tila is having a hard time adjusting to the change; she whines and wants to be held all day. Thank goodness my mother in law doesn't live too far so we are able to take her over there while the husband and I are both at work.
I'm not looking forward to unpacking boxes that have been in a storage unit for over a year. I sure am not looking forward to washing my dishes 10 times before I use them; I might just go and buy new ones and tell the husband I couldn't find them. Those damn mice must have stole them.

The husband made me go through all my clothes and shoes and get rid of all the stuff that I don't wear anymore. I had one medium sized pile, at least I had a pile. I have a hard time getting rid of my stuff. It's like I grow attached to it and I just can't bare to be without it hanging or sitting on the floor of my closet. But the husband can't say much because he too has a crap load of clothes and his boots are flippin expensive and he own's a quite a few pair.
It's been fun, stressful, and overwhelming but I can't wait until we are all moved in and can sit and relax.

I am addicted to jalapeno poppers - Arby's has the best but they are way overpriced and since I'm not suppose to be spending any money I go to wienerschnitzel because theirs are only a dollar.
The house is coming along - my fingers are swollen, I've got blisters on my hands, my feet hurt, and my back is in need of a serious massage. But I am truly blessed with all the help that we have had - if you stop by on the weekends there's usually around 10 people there. We got tile in our bathroom and kitchen and it looks amazing. It's crazy how something so simple can change the whole look. Carpet is getting put in today which I can't wait to see. But other than working 45 + hours a week and then working on our house every single night I am doing good but can't say much for the husband. He's been working 70 hours a week and then working on the house. I think he is need for a vacation and you know I would need to go with him; you know to keep him company because going on a vacation alone is boring. I'm pretty jealous that my sis and her little fam are heading on a cruise this weekend. I wish she could have stuffed me in her suitcase, she is pretty entertaining to go on vacations with. Just ask her about our last cruise we went on; we still tease her about it oh and also my older brother. I will never forget when we were getting off the ship he had toilet paper streaming out of his luggage and also a pillow that got caught in the zipper in his other bag. Oh my fam damily how you all make me laugh.

Oh how I love the movie Dumb and Dumber.

Welp, we finally closed on our house; it hasn't really hit me yet; I guess it will hit me when we move in. It has been a long process and I am just glad that part is over. Now it's on to repainting, recarpeting, retiling, adding walls, and moving walls. It could have been easier to just buy a brand new house, but what's the fun in that? We are on half an acre and no neighbors across the street or in back of us and there never will be. I've always wanted an older bungilow home with a huge front porch and that's exactly what I got. I guess dreams do come true. I just can't wait until all the remodeling is done and I am so glad that I married a handy man - seriously he is amazing at building stuff and also has great decorating ideas. You will have to see the finish product and see what I mean. I also can't thank enough for our mom's, the husbands lil bro, par, josh, bruce, aunt sandy and uncle wayde for all your amazing help with this. It would have taken us a lot longer to do it by ourselves without all your help. I will post before and after pictures when we are finished.

that the husband has to work nights. I couldn't sleep because I kept hearing weird noises and it wasn't helping that the wind was blowing like a mother last night. Tila kept barking at all the noises so it got me paranoid that someone was in the house. Good thing that I have a gun case next to my bed with a crap load of guns in there and that I know how to use them. But I am sure proud of the husband - he is such a hard worker. I just don't know how he does it, but he says he has his dream job - what job pays well and all you do is play in a big machine and play in the dirt?? He loves it!

On August 19th it was Jaxon's birthday...he turned the BIG 4. He is such a sweetheart and a very loving dog. He loves to go bunny and pheasant hunting and hangout with his dad. He still thinks he's a pup and that he can still sit on your lap and doesn't realize that he weighs 150 pounds. He is such a good dog and knows a few tricks. He loves to give hugs. play fetch, and likes to dance.

Yesterday our little baby turned one. Yes I just called my dog a baby and celebrated her birthday and yes I am doing a post about it and yes I took her to the pet store for her to pick out a toy (she actually had to have three toys and I told her no and she flipped out in the middle of the store so I had to buy them to hush her up). She is such a good doggy and is very loving. She sleeps with me and the husband every night. Even my mom adores her; she babysits her while we are at work and they watch lifetime together. She is very protective of me and hates little kids. I am a little worried when we have kids that she will always bark at them but I think maybe when she's around them a lot she won't..maybe. Jaxon (my chocolate lab) loves her. Well he does give her kisses when he sees her then ignores her. She is the size of his paw and his birthday is next week and he will be four. He shares the same birthday as my mom so they can party together. I have such good dogs and they both are so loving and I guess that the husband and I did good on raising them and we should be fine when we do have kids that they will turn out pretty darn good.

AF Canyon...

A couple of weeks ago the husband and I went on a four wheeler ride up american fork canyon. It was so pretty and a perfect day. We had some scary incidents (the four wheeler almost landed on the husband), but you should have seen the trails we were riding on. Let's just say they were meant for jeep crawling and not for a four wheeler. We went up to a nice lake in which we never even knew about it and found some cool rivers. Seen some doe's and got a nice sunburn.
When I was little my parents would take us kids campin up AF canyon and some of the areas the husband and I went to I have never been before and I've lived in Utah my whole life. It was fun to explore and watch all the crazy people up there.

Wild Cow Milking

On Friday and Saturday night the husband did the wild cow milking at the Draper rodeo. Friday night his team took second place which they were only a second behind the guys that took first. I have the video but it won't upload:( They were sure proud of themselves since it was the first time they did that.
Saturday night they weren't so lucky. The one team mate when he opened the chute and grabbed the rope to the cow got drugged and by the time the husband and his other team mate could jump in to help the cow turned on all three of them and plowed into them. It was scary to watch. I do have the video of that one too but the size is too big to upload. Plus I was screaming like crazy thinking that one of them got the horns but it turns out each of them got stepped on. The husband probably got the worst (lets just say I hope we can still have kids). My heart was racing and I was shaking and just wanted it to be done. I guess Friday night that same cow took out three other guys and another cow. One of the guys was rushed by ambulance so I hope he is doing alright. I don't understand why they would put that cow back in the rodeo after an accident like that. But I am just thankful that none of them got seriously hurt Saturday.
They are suppose to be going to the Cedar Fort rodeo but after Saturday night they are unsure if they should do it but I will keep you posted if they go so y'all can come out and watch.

It's been a while since I've posted, but life has been super crazy busy lately. I accepted a Supervisor position with my company; I'll still be planning events but will overlook the department and make the final decisions. It's a little stressful but I can manage it. I definitely got my dad's genes when it comes to working. Which I am glad because my dad has worked his whole life and has made something out of himself and I look up to him for that and am glad I got his business sense.

Well let's go back to the beginning of May - Dillon's birthday landed on mother's day this year, his family and us went out west shooting. His mom and I got him a pigeon thrower which he loved. We spent most the day out having fun.

My aunt, cousin, and my cousin' little girl came down from Idaho to visit. My cousin's little girl is so damn funny and so damn cute. She had me laughing the whole time they were here.

We've gone out riding on the weekends and have just been enjoying life. Dillon's been working like crazy. Seriously I don't know how men can do it. He works six days a week, gets up at 5am and doesn't get home til 7pm. No way I could do that and plus being outside all day long. He does have a nice farmers tan:)

My brother in law does the tractor pulling and he was down in Spanish Fork and took 3rd place. I guess he blew something while pulling which stinks, but my sister did take first in her class. It honestly cracks me up that she is getting into that. She is such a girly girl. We are so much a like but so different. We have always been the closest out of my siblings. I don't understand how; we are seven years a part but I am glad I have her in my life.

Well if you aren't doing anything July 9th and 10th head on over to the Draper Rodeo. The husband will be doing the cow milking. Now that's something you don't want to miss.

of having a backyard? Seriously, the people in my neighborhood don't use theirs; they play in the front yard or the road. Saturday afternoon I was leaving and my neighbor was playing baseball with his son in their driveway! Really?!?! When the dad would throw the ball it would always hit the garage. They have a big backyard why can't they play in it? Also, they let their dog go potty in their front yard excuse me our front yard. I can't even walk on our lawn because I will step in dog shit. I'm almost on the verge of putting it on their front porch in a brown bag and lighting it on fire.
Going home everday I have to drive 5mph because the kids will run out in front of you and there are no parents in sight and these kids are only two-four years old. If you come and visit you need to come around noon because most of the moms are sitting in a lawn chair in their driveway reading a book while their kids are raising hell. Seriously, it's a sight to see!
There have been a couple of times I about got out of my car and wanted to grab the ear of that little shit head kid and take him to his mom and chew her ass out.

The last couple of Sunday's we have gone fishing at Provo River. This is my first time ever fishing a river and it was so much fun. I had almost caught two fishes but when reeling them in I lost them:( The husband did catch one but he was a little guy so we put him back in. Friday I turned the big two four. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was a great birthday. I took the day off of work because really who wants to work on their birthday?!?! My grandma and mom took me to Olive Garden for lunch. I ate way too much and my stomach still hurts today from all the bread sticks and salad. My grandma made me a yummy cake and got me chocolate chip ice cream. It was so sweet of her and my grandpa gave me a little golf bag to put my beer's in (that's what he said it is for). I love my grandparents so much! They do so much for my family and I don't know what I would do without them in my life. Plus my grandma is an excellent cook and my grandpa is a goof and always has movies for you to borrow or crazy energy drinks that he bought on sale.
Later that day the hubby took me to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. I have been wanting to see this movies since it came out earlier this month. I loved it! The costumes were amazing. My favorite costume was Alice's when she was at the Queen of Heart's castle. The hubby isn't a big fan on 3D movies, it makes his eyes water. But I love them!
After that we went to my mom in laws house where she had a pink birthday hat for me to wear and also a pink blow dryer and a cute handle warmer. In case you didn't know I love the color pink and to prove it; I have a pink hair straightener, pink shirts, pink vest, pink boots, and now a pink blow dryer. I have a lot more things in pink but we will just leave that to myself.
I have been needing a new camera for some time now since the one I got two years ago decided it doesn't want to work anymore. The hubby had been looking around for one and hadn't found any that would be good. So today we went to Sear's and found one. I'm not a photographer and the hubby wanted that type of a camera, don't ask me why but those camera's are expensive. The one we found was at a great price and so we had to buy it. I guess from now on I will be taking lots of pictures.
It was a great birthday and now I am glad it is over!

Nothing new in the Snyder family. We don't have anything exciting going on in our life's. We have given up on looking for a house, every now and then we will browse but we haven't found anything that we like.
On a good note I am finally a size 4. I am still hoping to hit my goal of fitting into a size 2. It's so nice to finally be skinnier than my mom and older sister. I have struggled with my weight since highschool and have been up and down with it.
My blog is so boring sorry for whoever reads it, we don't do anything exciting lately. We are pretty much like hermits but its always nice to stay home together and watch tv.
It was so nice and warm today, we went for a drive and stared at all the weirdo's in salt lake.

What a week...

This week has flown right by. Well maybe that's because I worked almost 50 hours. And now my reasons for what a crappy week. None of my clothes fit me (no I'm not pregnant- they are all too BIG). My hair is in dire need of color and cut. My eyes and lip are swollen due to last nights venture of hives. My puppy is in need of attention as well as the husband. I feel like I should be Super Woman, but I'm not. I got pulled over for following too close, but the idiot in the fast lane should have moved over when i was riding his butt. (that happened two weeks ago but we can still count it for this week). There are no houses for sale that we like. I want to punch some people in the face for being stupid.
But on some good news my niece can say my name which made me smile and made me so happy. She has the cutest voice and it was oh just so damn cute.
My sister and I spent 5 hours on facebook last week stalking people. She wouldn't get off it, she now wants a computer so she can do it all day.
My birthday is coming up *hint hint* i really like presents:) I am a little nervous about turning the big two-four. I wish my birthdays would skip now, I don't want to get any older and I already feel like I'm 40. And now I leave you a picture of Tila. In the photo below she only has one but it's so stinkin cute. She is our baby since Jaxon is just way too big to be chilling on my lap. Crazy pregnant woman...

I'm sitting at the doctor's office for my lovely yearly checkup and the lady across from me throws the magazine and yells "this is the stupidest magazine!" I glared at her for a while and then stared at her husband who looked embarrassed to be seen with her. It must have been her first visit because the nurse had them filling out paperwork regarding the pregnancy and the crazy pregnant woman didn't understand the stuff she was filling out so was yelling (I think the whole building heard her) at her husband to go ask the nurse what that all meant. So while he was asking the nurse she started yelling at her husband to come back and she will just look at it. (I'm sitting there watching them with a disgusted look on my face). He goes back to his crazy pregnant wife and she starts screaming that whoever the lawyer was that wrote the document was so stupid and this was the stupidest document EVER! I really felt bad for him and if I was him I would have probably slapped the shit out of her. Poor guy he has nine months of hell to go through. Hopefully it's a boy and doesn't take after the crazy mom.
While I was sitting in the room there was another couple next door and they talked really loud so I pretty much heard everything that was going on. She kept asking the doctor about rashes and oozing and this infection and what caused this and that. You just had to be there to listen and laugh. My doctor finally came in after I sat there for oh about 40 minutes and asked me if I could hear any of that; I started laughing and said oh maybe. He said well at least it kept you busy and entertained while you waited. And it sure did.
Just thought I would share my fun filled day:)

To start off the new year we hung out at our friend's parents house and ate crab legs and shrimp and did some karaoke. I would post the video of Dillon singing some Justin Moore but I think he would put me in the dog house. It was so much fun and very entertaining. Let's just say I have some black mail video's and photos;) I have the hardest time staying awake past 10pm so I kept drinking red bull and taking caffeine pills. I did make until 2am and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.
We went fourwheeling the next morning. Dillon convinced me to get on the tube and he would pull me behind the four wheeler and he would go slow, so I gave in and what do I know I went a flying in the air and landed straight on my back and some how rolled over on my stomach and skidded my face across the ice. I couldn't move for a minute and when Dillon came to make sure I was breathing I had throbbing pain in my back which didn't go away for two weeks. I thought I had broke something but it's fine now.

Now I am trying to convince Dillon to taking me to Disneyland. He said we would have to drive, but I don't care. I really just want to go and get out of this cold weather for now.

We went sledding today and it was freeeeeezing cold. We also took our four wheeler and Dillon had a blast riding around on the snow. Our friends dad came out and was using a truck bed liner to pull all the kids around. I wish i took some pictures of that. It was hilarious watching all the kids pile in it and watching them all roll right out. It's a good idea because you don't have to hear the kids complain about it's their turn. While the kids did that my friend PattiJo and I took the kids sleds and decided to try out some hills. It was a blast. I think the hardest part was climbing up the hill. I am so out of shape. I did try riding in the truck bed liner and after we were done my butt was so sore. You felt every bump and every rock that you hit. But proud to say that one time riding in it I didn't roll out. I am now home and in my pajama's at 7pm and I am completely exhausted.
Christmas was so much fun. I was a very good girl this year and Santa brought me everything I asked for. I got so spoiled but so did Dillon. It was nice to see our families and hangout. I can't believe how fast it came and now it's over. I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas.

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving. i wish i had pictures to post of ours but my lens on my camera is scratched and the photos turned out crappy. i will have to steal some from my mom. it was a good break from work to just be home and hangout with our families.
my aunt, uncle, and cousins came in from idaho and stayed with us for a few days. it was so good to see them; i only get to see them maybe once or twice a year.
i didn't do the black friday shopping. been there once and never again. i guess if i had kids to buy stuff for it would be a different story.
dillon's aunt and cousins came in from california so we got to see them. we pretty much just spent the week with our families and hopefully tomorrow i can put up our christmas tree.
i am excited for this coming saturday because we have tickets to see gary allan in concert. he is amazing live!

The hubby and I went to the state fair this year up in salt lake. My brother in law entered in the truck pulls and took first place. after six months of job searching Dillon found a job. It was nice having him home because my house was clean, laundry was done, and dinner was on the table when I got home from work. But it's been nice that he has been working because he was going crazy sitting at home all day long with nothing to do. So far he has really liked his job and he gets along with the guys he works with.

at updating my blog. I haven't had anything really exciting come up and our computer's screen is broke so its so hard to see what I'm typing.
We are getting ready to move out of our apartment however which I am excited about. I don't like our neighbors they are really loud and just plain obnoxious. The only thing I hate about moving is loading and unloading everything. It's such a pain and I have moved so much in my life that it should be a breeze by now.
My aunt Colette came down and visited with the fam damily. So on Friday my aunt, grandma, my mom, my sis and her little one, and me all went shopping at the mall. I wanted to spend some money, but couldn't find anything worth spending on. My little niece is so darn cute though and can be shy which is hilarious. She definitely looks like a Robinson.
Also, just realized Mother's Day is this Sunday and have no idea what I should get my mom and mother in law. Any suggestions??

I feel old. I just turned twenty-three on march 26th. I worked on my birthday since it was a thursday and i took friday off to go shopping and to the movies with my mom. I came home from work on thursday and found my house all decorated in pink and princess balloons. I had my fam over for pizza, cake, and ice cream. It was so much fun! I tried to tell Dillon that my birthday needs to be celebrated all week long, but he just doesn't understand. I just want thank everyone for coming over and celebrating with me!!!

It was such nice weather this weekend. Dillon and his cousin were bored over the week so they decided to clean his cousin's parents backyard and put in a garden. I did a little bit of helping, but I only like to plant the seeds so Rachel and I planted peas and broccoli. The boys also put together a chicken coop. I guess they want chickens so they can have fresh eggs. We had a fire and roasted hot dogs and had smores. It was so much fun. I honestly have the best husband anyone could ask for. He is so caring and loving. I love it on some saturday's he will bring me breakfast in bed (even though I'm not a big breakfast fan he makes the stuff I will eat). When I'm sick he goes to the store early in the morning to get me medicine. He just takes such good care of me and I appreciate him more than he will ever know it. I love it when I come home from work and he has dinner ready and the house cleaned. It makes you just appreciate what you have in life. I don't know what or where I would be without him. He teaches me to be a stronger person. He is my best friend and I wouldn't trade him for anything in this world. He's always there for a shoulder to cry on and would do anything for you. I love you Dillon!

As some of you may know Dillen Bennett just got married on Feb. 28th. He is my husbands cousin for those who don't know who he is. It was a little stressful planning. Rachel only had about four weeks to put it all together, but she should be very thankful that she has family here to help. The wedding turned out beautiful. It was fun to see some of the people we went to school with and see their kids and what they've been up to. It made me so thankful for my wedding. I only had to pick out a few things but it was all through e-mail and we just needed to show up and get married. We went to my brother in law's basketball game at american fork high school, the school dillon and i met at. It was neat to see the table we sat at when i gave him my phone number and the classroom we had together. I sat and thought where would i be if i didn't transfer high schools or if my parents would have stayed in american fork instead of moving to lehi would have i still met dillon?? It makes me wonder. Are idiot drivers. I was scared to death driving to work today. I don't mind driving in the snow, my only problem is other drivers. It was ridiculous on how people drive in this kind of weather. I watched one guy make a fast left turn and ended up spinning out and a vehicle having to slam on their brakes causing them to swerve out of control. Just ridiculous. Oh and my favorite thing is when people ride your butt. Seriously dude i'm in a car with no four wheel drive i'm not going to risk my life so you can get to work on time. AHHH people drive me crazy. I just had to vent about today because i seriously wanted to hurt someone. So everyone drive home safely!

Pics of our christmas tree...and i also took it down today:( Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love decorating my house! If dillon would let me i probably would keep all my decorations up, but he says they must come down. In a way i'm glad its over. It was crazy last week with visiting the fam. FRIGHTFUL! I can't believe how much is has snowed today and now i get to drive home in it. I'm glad it will be a white christmas, but i wish i didn't have to drive in it. And to make matters worse i'm still not done christmas shopping! I have my grandparents, mother in law, and dillon's grandparents to still shop for. And i have no clue what i am going to get them. Any ideas? I have to get this done by tomorrow. And that's just me waiting for last minute shopping. I did this last year and i told myself never never again. But did i listen? sure didn't. Well hope everyone is enjoying the snow and i will need to post pics of my christmas tree..it is so cute! Everyone drive home safely!

Honestly! When the weatherman says it's going to snow for the next few days wouldn't the snow plows be up early plowing all the main roads?? It was a nightmare this morning trying to get to work. Especially last week when they said we were going to have a big snow storm and we were up on bangeter heading to my mom's and the road was so bad but not one snow plow was out. What do they do? Sit back and watch the news and laugh at all the accidents?? I still have not seen one yet. This is ridiculous.

Tonight dillon and i were playing playstation 3, it was some football game and i have kicked his butt twice last week. Well tonight he was kickin my trash and i was like what in the world and i caught him looking at my plays. i was so mad! he won me by two points, but i could have kicked him where it hurts for cheatin!! His reponse: "i'm sick of losing at this game! I wanted to win!" My response: "you are a stinkin cheater!!!!" Well that was our night just thought i would share that my husband is a sore loser! But he knows that i love him even if he is.

Finally it started snowing today. I am so excited! Winter is my all time favorite season. I love the holidays and especially the paid holidays! Oh and I finally got my christmas tree up and my house all decorated on the inside. Don't know if i will do the outside this year, but we will see. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Today is our 6 year anniversary since we met. It's crazy to think that we have been together this long. I can remember the first night we hung out and our first date. It seriously is so crazy that is honestly has been that long ago. Time sure does fly by and I can't wait to celebrate 60 years!

Its been a while since i've written anything, but nothing really exciting has happened.

Thanksgiving we went up to my mom's house and ate and then watched one of my favorite christmas movies - a christmas story. Hung out and after went to dillon's aunt and uncles house because his aunt was in town from cali and he hasn't seen her in seven years. It was such a busy weekend with the fam. Dillon's fam all went up provo canyon and we hungout up at sundance. There wasn't any real snow yet, but they did have the snow that they made, so the kids all threw snowballs at each other. I wish i would have taken pics, but my camera died.

We also played uno, well we called it redneck uno. We made up our own rules and the games lasted between two hours to about three hours. It was so much fun. I think we played that game for four days non stop. I really wish I had pictures, but I will have to steal them from brandy. Hope you don't mind brandy:)

Welp that was our weekend and I hope every body else had a good thanksgiving!
